  • The Boston Tea Party was an event done in protest of the Tea Act. $65,000 worth of tea was dumped in the sea.
  • Dump the tea!

  • The Quartering Act required colonists to provide a place for British Troops. Colonists refused to follow this law and it eventually expired.
  • Not in my house!

  • Sugar
  • Colonists had to pay extra taxes on molasses, which led to protests and smuggling of sugar and molasses.
  • Here are 2 bags and one bottle.

  • 50 "rebels" threw snowballs or stones at the British Soldiers to protest the taxes. The soldiers fired back killing 3 and wounding 8.
