Storyboard Text

  • Who is this beggar that has been treated cruelly in my home? Bring him to me, I must apologize and ask for information about Odysseus.
  • Who knows what these suitors will do if they see me approaching the queen’s room.
  • Great, we're left with the suitors
  • I need to return to the hut to take care of my swine.
  • We'll see about that.
  • For a beggar, this man is quite arrogant
  • Get off the porch you old goat. I could make quick work of you old man
  • You sure did make quick work of me.
  • Equipped with extra strength and stature thanks to Athena. Odysseus quickly defeats Irus the beggar and stops short of killing him as the suitors egg him on.
  • I regret challenging this man, he has displayed extreme strength.
  • To the beggar, who has defended his name. Take this bread, for your win and newfound kleos
  • I must warn you Odysseus is returning soon, it would be in your best interest to leave now before he comes back with the tale of his nostos.
  • A pitiful suitor this man is, the only example of xenia within the lot of the suitors, they are all constantly indulging in food but only one shares. No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind
  • But not even so, could he escape this fate. For Athena has bound even Amphinomus to death at the hands of Telemachus.
