Storyboard Text

  • She must appear now, in front of her suitors. With greater beauty and stature the plan will be successful. My heart breaks for Odysseus, so far from his loved ones for so long. Such an admirable man cursed by his own fate.
  • You don't devour a woman’s goods scot-free, your consideration will require gifts
  • My husband...I miss him dearly. I need to honour his wishes. He had instructed me to find a new husband if he failed to return before our son was of age to grow a beard.
  • Her dolos, luring gifts from her suitors now, she has always had the potential to become a master of deceit with her cunningness. Her intelligence is simply shadowed by her beauty
  • Off to tend for your dear queen whose husband has been away for so long. How can you stand here as she desires comfort.
  • Did someone beat your brains out? Why should I take orders from a beggar like you. A better man than Irus will take you on and you will leave this palace bloody and beaten.
  • YOU BITCH. It lies with the Gods to make us rich or poor.
  • His anger has increased but it has not peaked, someone must poke at his ego. He must become angrier.
  •  Eurymachus throws a stool at him but misses, hitting a servant. Just as a riot is about to break out, Telemachus steps in and diffuses the situation, to the consternation of the suitors.
  • You’re sick with pride, you brutal fool. No doubt you count yourself a great powerful man because you sport with a puny crowd.
  • They might feel they’re being witty insulting and treating me poorly, but they have no idea of the dolos of the great Odysseus, son of pain.
  • You fat ugly old man
