  • Such abuse, just because I’m filthy because I wear such rags. Roving around the country hand to mouth. I too once lived in a large house that men would admire. To live the life of ease, but Zeus ruined it all. Beware woman for one day you may lose it all.
  • You're still here, you pest.
  • He claims to have met Odysseus, but I can’t be sure he is truthful.
  • I don’t believe we’ve met. Who are you? Where are you from?
  •  I’m a man who has had his share of sorrows. It is wise not to speak of the past, but to speak of the future.
  • I understand. I must ask, how did my husband look when you saw him?
  • As much as he is strong and courageous, Odysseus is deceitful and cunning... His wits will help him, he will be home before the month is over
  • Somebody wash this mans feat.
  • He has seen him, this man has seen my husband. I’m sure of this. Yet he won’t accept my offer of lodgement. I must find a way to thank him.
  • The maid bathed Odysseus, but not even a bath could wash away the struggles of the Kings homecoming
  • You are Odysseus, I can’t believe it if I had not recognized the scar I would never have known it was you.
  • Do you want to kill me? If you betray me I will not spare you when I kill the women of my house.
