Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • One day, Aliyah went onto the bus to get to school. Suddenly, she sees an unfamiliar face. She immediately knew it was a new student. Caleb started thinking about sitting with her, but decided not to because she didn't want a bad influence. Aliyah thought that the new kid would be a bad influence by his clothes: a black jacket, white shirt, and grey jeans.
  • Conflict
  • Later, Aliyah meets her friend, Caleb, by the lockers. After they finishing talking about classes, Caleb talks about the new kid, asking Aliyah to invite him to sit with them at lunch. Aliyah soon agrees and went to class. Little did Caleb know, Aliyah has been spreading rumors and calling the new student names and saying that he is a "delinquent".
  • Falling Action
  • In class, Aliyah was thinking about befriending the new student but was afraid of befriending a bad influence. She then started talking about the new kid behind his back to the classmates, hoping the news wouldn't get to him.
  • Resolution
  • Soon, lunch came by. Aliyah and Caleb sat at a table, waiting for the new student to show up. Soon, the new student walked into the cafeteria. Aliyah then called the student over to sit with them. Before he got to the table, Aliyah quietly whispered "delinquent" to Caleb, causing him to have a shocked look on his face. After talking to him, they both found out that the student's name is Matthew.
  • After lunch, Aliyah walked Matthew to his locker while Caleb headed to class. On the way to his locker, Aliyah is filled with guilt for talking about Matthew behind his back. At his locker, Aliyah suddenly apologizes to Matthew for spreading rumors and calling him names. Matthew forgave Aliyah and they became best friends that day.
  • They would sit by each other on the bus and at lunch from now on. It was like all the rumors never happened.
