  • Gangster ran nightclubs were the only venues that hired African American musicians because they felt that it didn't matter what the colour of your skin is, If you're talented then you're welcome.
  • Jazz was liberating, it broke the rules musically and socially.  Because of the great popularity of Jazz in the 1920s it is commonly known as the Jazz age. Though so many people loved jazz others hated it because they though of it to be the "devils music"
  • The Next Morning...
  • HONEYYYY TIME TO WAKE UP
  • Mary loved watching the musicians play their instruments. She found it beautiful and she couldn't shake the feeling she would get watching them.
  • Oh Mary, Why do you look so tired? 
  • Ohh no reason...
  • The crowd dances all night long to the liberating jazz music...
  • Mary is woken by her mom to get some house work done.
  • Mary doesn't tell her mom what she did yesterday because it must remain a secret.
