- Jamie wants to join a boat party, but the minimum threshold for renting a boat is 22 people. Jamie doesn't have that many friends available.
- Mario has a boat, and he's having a problem finding enough people to rent her boat. Ordinary Hong Kong people tend to book a boat with a group of 20 friends.
- Mario posted his boat on Ocean's 22 and listed out his boat details, e.g., size, facilities, the minimum price to sail out the boat and price for each participant.
- Jamie and the other partygoers found Mario's post, they pay the full price to secure the seat via Ocean's 22 website
- Full payment of partygoers (participants) goes to the Ocean's 22 website's bank account. The money will be transferred to Mario's registered bank account when reaching the minimum sail out amount. Otherwise, the funds will be returned to each participant's account.
- Jamie is thrilled that she can go to the boat party, while Mario is also pleased to rent out the boat without much effort.
