A lion was asleep in the forest when a little mouse came upon him unexpectedly, in her fright and haste to get away, ran across the lion's nose.
Lion roused from his nap angrily and laid his huge paw to kill the tiny creature."Spare me"! begged the poor mouse. Please let me go someday I will surely repay you."Lion was amused to think that a mouse could ever help him, but he was generous and finally let the mouse go.
Days later, the lion was caught in the toils of a hunter's net. Unable to free himself, he filled the forest with his angry roaring. The mouse knew the voice and quickly found the lion, she helped the lion by biting the ropes until it already parted.
and soon the lion was free. "You laughed when i said I would repay you". Now you see that even a mouse can help a lion".
Moral: Don't judge a book by its cover. Mercy brings its reward and there is no being so small that it can't help a greater.
