Storyboard Text

  • The Great War is finally over and the stock market is on the rise. It's looking promising so I, like many Americans, am investing all my savings. I believe the markets will keep going up.
  • It's July, 1929. We are in a recession but I believe that we will pull out of it soon. The economy is doing well and is strong, and it will bounce back. I am keeping my money in the bank where I think it will be safest.
  • It's 1928, and things are going well on the farm. We had a great harvest this year, and it looks like we will keep having them. I am optimistic about the future.
  •  Sell                              Sell                       Sell
  • Stock Market is overinflated. Many believe a market crash is coming. Stockholders begin to panic. 13 million shares traded on this day.
  • October 24, 1929 Black Thursday
  • October 29, 1929 Black Tuesday
  • Great Depression begins
  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We lost everything! The stock market crashed and the bank has no money left!
  • I'm still doing well. We had a good harvest this year. I am confident I will not be affected by this         depression......
