The Proclamation act of 1763 was an act that stopped settlers from going across the Appalachian mountains. It allowed England to control the westward expansion and most Indian tribes The result was a fail because the settlers continued to cross the mountains because the area was not policed by the British.
The Boston Massacre (1770
The stamp act was an act that required all paper(newspapers, magazines etc.) to be stamped with a British stamp and had to pay tax with it. Although the price of the stamp was not expensive the whole idea of the act angered the colonists.
The Boston Tea Party (1773)
The Townshed acts was a series of acts that taxed the colonies. The colonies had to be taxed with the goods they were getting. They also had to quarter the British troops and provide them with supplies. Supplying the troops is what angered the colonists the most.
The Intolerable Acts (1774
The Boston massacre was an event in where a British soldier was being harassed by other colonists. The harassment kept going and more soldiers had to show up. Then one colonists threw a big rock and knocked a soldier down. One thing led to another and the soldiers shot into the crowd. 5 colonists were killed. The colonist were outraged by what happened.
The Boston tea party was an event in where colonists dressed up as native Americans and boarded a ship filled with tea. They did this because of the tea act. They then threw all the tea on all the ships into the ocean. Because of this the Intolerable acts were establish and those acts were basicly what led to the American Revolution.
In response to the Boston tea party the the acts closed the port of Boston, reduced their self government those accused had to be triled in England and the civilians had to quarter troops. These acts made the civilians mad. In result resistances were formed along the colonies and pushed the anger to the American Revolution.
