Many people didn't wash their clothes instead left them to stink inside their houses. Those who could afford to send their clothes away did but the people would use urine to get rid of the stains or to set dyes. In this picture, you can see only some of the clothes hanging up getting wash but most of them laying in a pile of mud getting dirty and not clean.
In this scene you see a woman throwing out her waste on her balcony. Many people would use buckets as a toilet before throwing it out the window onto the ground.
Due to the lack of medicine, many people died from diseases that can be cured today. This left thousands dead and made people search for more cures. In this photo, you can see a young boy who has died laying down while his doctor is standing beside his bed.
During this time a massive thing for a woman was the makeup they wore and how it needed to make them look beautiful. The woman wore massive amounts of makeup to make them look pretty awhile using several different techniques from leads to whitening up their skins.
During this time the people did have access to the public toilets but they weren't the best looking ones. The toilets were made of stone, the only way for the waste to flush was to wait for the weather to be wet to wash it naturally.
During the middle ages, many families would bath the most important family member first which would normally be the father, mother, and so on. By the time the baby got to the bath, the water was usually filthy and really dirty enough that you wouldn't see the bottom.
