Storyboard Text

  • Hi! I’m Lithium but you can call me Li. I have to find a snack.
  • Is that your jar of Nitrate, Zinc? Because I have to have it. We go together.
  • No! It’s my Nitrate! I get to keep it.
  • But I need it. Please give it over.
  • Fine. If you have to.
  • Lithium needs to find a snack that is a lower reactant than her.
  • Zinc has to hand over Nitrate to Sodium becasue Nitrate has a lower reactant than Sodium so they can mix and form a new chemical compound.
  • Since Lithium is a higher reactant than Zinc and Zinc handed over Nitrate to Sodium, they now become Lithium Nitrate + Zinc. (LiNO3)
