Chapters 1 and 2
Bruno makes a discovery (chapter one)
The new house (chapter two)
The change (chapters one and two combined)
As Bruno comes home to see Maria packing his belongings he is puzzled and confused. He politely asks why she is packing his possessions and belongings. As Bruno turns around his mother appears to be standing behind him. Bruno goes on a rant asking heaps of questions on why his stuffed is being packed . Mother flusters and proceeds to march down the stairs with Bruno following. As they reach the dinning room, Bruno is told that the whole family is moving to a new place due to his fathers work
As Bruno arrived at the new house his mouth made the shape of a O. He had different inhibitions of his new house. Their house in Berlin was the complete opposite of the new one. His new house was in a deserted area and his house was the only one on the street unlike the one in Berlin which was filled with beautiful houses. As Bruno went up to his new room he looked around he discovered a window which looked out onto a farm (Nazi camps) was wondering if their would be any children there .
At that time Bruno was glazing into the distance where he looked upon a fence. He was hoping he could see the streets and houses like he could in Berlin. This reminded him being back with his friends and grandparents in Berlin. This moment made him feel sad as he missed them dearly. With all the new changes ahead his mother kept on reminding him to make the best out of a bad situation.
