There is gravity, friction, magnets, and elastic forces
hello i am Bardi C and this is Wanye Kest today we are going to teach you about the forces.
Gravity works on everything on this Earth, such as humans, other living things,
Gravity is the pull on any object, in this scenario gravity is pulling on the water making it spill. If there was no gravity then the water would float because there would be no pull.
Friction is the resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving over another.
Bardi is using friction in this scenario. She is using it to hold herself up. Her hands are gripping on to the pavement which is causing friction. Bardi's hands grip the pavement.
There are magnets being used in this scenario because in the compass there are magnets that attract to the magnetic field of this Earth when you are in need of directions.
A magnet is a piece of iron that can attract or repel to other magnetic items.
Bardi and Wanye are using elastic forces here in this scenario because whenever they stretch the rope it returns to its original form.
Elastic forces are the ability that a material has to return to it's original shape after being stretched.
Thank you for listening to us tell you about the many forces science has two offer!
