Josephs' brothers stripped him of his rainbow robe, a present from his father, and threw him into a dried up well as they disliked him because he was Jacob’s favorite, and he had dreams of greatness.
I will never betray my master
A couple of hours later his brothers took him out of the pit and sold him to some Ishmaelites who were on their way to Egypt, where he was taken to Egypt and sold to Potiphar, the Pharaoh's right hand man .
As soon as Joseph had left, his brothers ripped up his clothing and dripped it in lamb blood to cover up their actions, making it look like he was attacked by a mountain lion.
After a while, Potiphar’s wife started to fancy Joseph, and asked him to be with her, but Joseph declined as he was a loyal servant. When Joseph turned his back, and left, she held on to his garment and it came off. She started accusing Joseph for attacking her, as it was the first time she had ever been declined.
When Joseph was sent to prison for this, there were 2 other prisoners, the butler and the baker. They told Joseph they were having weird dreams. Joseph then interpreted these dreams as the butler was going to be released in three days, and that the baker was going to be killed in three days. Yet, three days later those dreams came true, and as the Butler left, Joseph asked him to remember him.
After 2 years, the Pharaoh had a dream that he was standing at the banks of the Nile River and that 7 fat cows came out of the water, and then 7 slim cows, and the slim cows ate the fat cows. Also he dreamed that 7 good ears of grain were growing on a stalk, and that 7 bad ears swallowed them up.
