Hi my name is Jessica. I am going to be talking about the Nile River. If you do not live near the river you would not be able to survive. If you do not have water you can not survive. The Nile River floods all of June-September. The water starts flooding in June then it starts going back in on September.
October-February it is planting season which means the crops grow and in Febraury the crops are ready to be picked. Then, March-May it's harvest season! Harvest season is when everyone that lives near the river can go and get crops all of March to May.
The Nile River is about 4,184 miles! The countries the Nile River goes threw are Egypt, Sudan, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi.
