1824- John Quincy Adams and the Corrupt Bargain- It was widely believed that Clay, the Speaker of the House at the time, convinced Congress to elect Adams, who then made Clay his Secretary of State.

1828- Tariff of Abomination- it was a tarriff so things outside of the country costed more so people would by more us stuff
1828- Jackson 1st election- he went against adams and he told his friends to get people to vote for him and then they get jobs

1828- South Carolina Nullification- south carolina said the tariff was unconstitutional
1832- Worcester vs. Georgia - this proved that the indains had the right for there land and worchster is free
1836- Trail of Tears- thousand of indains went down this trail and a lot died because jackson could not wait till spring
