That night was the first time that Montag met Clarisse. This moment is before Clarisse ran back to her house when she left Montag hanging. Montag was confused as he did not understand why Clarisse would ask such a question. This made Montag question everything that he thought he knew.

This was when Montag found the empty pills bottle and called for help to save Mildred's life. Then two operators came with two machines and replaced her blood. The straight black tube sucked out all the tainted blood while the other grey tube pumped in new blood.
Montag kills Beatty
This was when Montag witnessed a committed woman burning herself with her books. Her actions caused Montag to reflect on his doings and wonder what was the importance of it all. This event has been a constant reminder for Montag that he is unlike the others.
This was when Montag wanted to scare Mildred and her friends into thinking that they are living a life that is not desirable. Hence, he read an excerpt of a book which resulted in tears and anger. Which resulted in them leaving the house and this event might have triggered Mildred to expose Montag.
This event was when Montag was instructed to burn his own house. Beatty then provoked Montag, causing him to drown Beatty in flames. After murdering Beatty, Montag realised that it was intentional. Although he destroyed all of his possessions, Montag did not feel remorse. This event caused Montag to realise he could start over.
This depicts the bombing which resulted in a ruined city that is capable of starting over anew. After the war, Montag and his newfound partners went into the city to began a new life for all. They were ready to rebuild the city from its ruins.
