  • When we dip the paper towel into the water the water slowly creeps up the paper towel because is sticks to the other molecules of the paper towel.

  • The water in the experiment stuck to the molecules of paper and climbed up the paper.
  • This climb of water up the paper proves that the water molecules actively stick to other non-water molecules.
