Creation Story: Stewardship of Creation
This storyboard does not have a description.
Genesis 1:24-26 Then God said,
Let the earth bring forth creatures of every kind: cattle and creeping things and wild animals of the earth of every kind.
And it was so. God made the wild animals of the earth of every kind, and everything that creeps upon the ground of every kind. And God saw that it was good.
Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
When God made humankind he wanted them to still have dominion over the rest of the creatures, but he wanted them to rely off of each other and live in harmony together.
But thats not how things are today. People take things for granted and think that there is a limitless amount of certain things. These people use there findings as valuables to make money. Today there are only about 30,000 elephants left on the earth.
We need to stop abusing our dominion over other creatures.
Each year the number of elephants poached for their ivory tusks is reducing because of laws, but an estimated 23,000 were slaughtered in 2006.
