"Well, nex time you answer when you're spoken to."
"Leggo of him, Lennie. Let go."
George and Lennie are being Introduced to the story because they are the main characters.
"You know what I could do?" "I could get you strung up on a tree so easy it ain't even funny."
George and Lennie meet Candy and his old dog. After George and Lennie spoke to the boss they encountered Curley, the boss's son and this creates conflict between Curley, George, and mainly Lennie.
"I done a bad thing. I done another bad thing."
Curley was hitting Lennie and when Curley went for another punch Lennie grabbed Curley's fist and crushed it. It relates to the plot because the conflict between Curley and Lennie will rise.
Curley's wife was looking for Curley. Candy, Crooks, and Lennie wouldn't tell her where he is, so she tried to make conversation with the men and she talked about how lonley she got in her house. One thing led to another she made Crooks feel like he was nothing after he said that she had to leave his room.
Curley's wife was talking to Lennie and she told Lennie to feel her hair, and he got carried away when feeling her hair. She said that he was gonna mess up her hair and when she jerked her head side ways Lennie held on to her hair and she started screaming. Lennie put his hand around her mouth to stop her from screaming and shook her until eventually her neck broke and she died.
In the last chapter Curley found out that Lennie killed his wife so Curley wanted to kill Lennie. Lennie remembered to hide in the brush and George knew where he was, but he told the guys that Lennie went South when he really went North. George met up with Lennie and they were talking about their dream and then George shot Lennie in the back of the head and Lennie died.
