Biology 4 Principles of Natural Selection
This storyboard does not have a description.
In the depicted image above, a species of rare catepillar are found in a hot climated area. The phenotype trait for color of all is yellow with black stripes.
All of a sudden when the old catepillar reproduce and have offspring; one of the offspring came out mutated and it is now red unlike the rest.
The mutated catepillar is easily spotted by a predator and is eaten.
Due to severe climate change is the area, desertification occured and so the area turned into a dry desertous area/ environment.
Now that all the organisms (non-mutated) in the species are visible and cannot hide, the predators are back and eat them all.
Due to nothing helping the captepillar, that rare species has now gone extinct.
