  • Montag is sitting in the subway reading a book and screaming because he can't concentrate
  • I can't concentrate on the book I am reading. These stupid commercials distract me!!
  • Montag getting tricked by his cousin and now he feels the same way about the books 
  • Montag you have to fill the sieve with sand!
  • I can't! Every time I fill sand inside it falls back out! - I feel the same way about the books because every time I read the information is gone.
  • Montag going to Faber's house to learn something about the book he is reading
  • I want to be responsible for myself and change something. I need to get taught what is written in the books. Faber is the right man to help me!
  • Faber's three important things he told Montag to know if he wants to change something
  • Number 1 of the important thins is "Quality". Number 2 is "Leisure". And number 3 is "the right to carry out actions based on what we learn from the interaction of the first two".
  • Montag screaming at Mildred's friends when he comes home because he doesn't like them
