It's a very nice inkblot with little points all around the edges.
Charlie is a 32 year old male who works at a run down factory, and wants to be smart due to his mental disorder. His IQ is currently at 68, and he at least wants to double that. So his teacher is recommending him to 2 doctors that she think can get the job done.
It looks like a fountain pen with ink leaking all over a table cloth.
A man comes in to test Charlie's intelligence and personality. He's gathering this information to see if he's ready for an upcoming operation.
All my life I wanted to be smart and not dumb.
Why did you want to learn to be smart?
However, Charlie is having trouble taking the test due to his lack of intelligence. The man is starting to become confused by Charlie's answers.
Ok but I don't know what I'm doing.
The man gets frustrated with Charlie's answers and leaves. Charlie's incompetence started to tick him off. The young man still tells about Charlie to the doctors for his shot at intelligence.
Doctors Nemur and Strauss are deciding if they should use Charlie for an operation for artificial intelligence. He then tries persuading them to give him a chance to experience intelligence.
Charlie now meets his nemesis, Algernon. He is a white mouse that has already had the operation performed on him. Undoubtedly, he is smarter than Charlie. He does not enjoy dumber than a mouse.
