“This floor is mine. And this one is all yours. Here’s your room. I do hope you like it.”
“Thank you. Thank you ever so much!”
Billy needed a place to stay for the night. When he was walking around he found a motel that’s said BED AND BREAKFAST. When he went inside the landlady said it only costs 5 and 6 pence a night. Then if you don’t want eggs in the morning it is only 5 pence.
“Gregory Temple? Christopher Mulholland?”
”Such charming boys.”
The Landlady took Billy up to his floor. The first floor is only used by the Landlady. Then the Landlady took Billy up to the second floor and the second floor is only used by the guest person to sleep in.
After Billy gets his room, he goes into it and starts to unpack his suitcase. When he is done unpacking, he washes his hands, and then goes back downstairs to sign into the book.
“Excuse my asking, but haven’t there been any other guests here except them in the last 3 years?”
“If I happen to forget what you were called, then I can just look it up. And no my dear, only you.”
When Billy went back downstairs to sign into the book, they sat down. Billy looked into the book and there were only two other names in the book. Those names are Christopher Mullohland 231 Cathedral Road, Cardiff. Then Gregory W. Temple, 27 Sycamore Drive, Bristol. Billy knows he had heard of their names before.
The Landlady was a taxidermist. So when her dog and parrot died, she stuffed her animals.
In the name entry booklet there have only been three people in the last three years. Billy swears he has maybe seen there names on a newspaper. He then says that Christopher was a schoolboy who was walking. Then the Landlady quickly changes the subject back to if Billy wants anymore sugar.
