Storyboard Text

  • Grrrrrrrrrrr
  • I'm hungry
  • My hands hurt
  • I don't care
  • I'm sad but I need money for me and my family
  • I need money for food and water
  •  Once there was an island far far away with an evil man who only cared about money and would do anything to become the rich and sell his products. To make the most money possible, he knew he could take advantage of poor, desperate kids. He took them all to the island to work in his factories.
  • OUCH! My finger!
  • This is dangerous
  • He didn't treat them right because no matter how much they were suffering, he knew he could get them to work with little pay because the children would do anything to survive.
  • Throughout the world, about 215 million kids work full time, but they barely make any money to live their daily lives.
  • The children work in dangerous conditions and do very difficult jobs risking their lives everyday
  • Child labor is not right and is putting children at risk of death. It can be stopped, helped, and prevented in many ways. For example, foreign aid could provide them with more money, and laws can prevent children working at a very young age
  • Stopping child labor will save more lives and better the world for families and children
