  • Rudy is a side character in the story, The Book Thief, And is in a close relationship with the main character Liesel, which is the reason for most of his actions.

  • Hes has blonde hair and blue eyes and brightens everyone's mood
  • Maybe me and Liesel can go steal. Even though all we have stolen were books.
  • In the beginning Rudy was intent on impressing Liesel and being childish and funny like kids usually are.
  • I wonder what Liesel is up too. I will get her to like me no matter what

  • Rudy progresses throughout the story and becomes more brave and protective of Liesel.
  • As Rudy slowly grows as a character he becomes more responsible but also more destructive and angry.

  • "Rudy looked at Leisel with contempt that she was his good friend."
  • Near the end before the bombing Rudy develops the thoughts that he needs to prove things to himself instead of others. Deffinetly during the Hitler youth games.
