On Christmas Eve in 1843, Jacob Marley's ghost comes and tells Scrooge to be a better person or else he'll live a miserable life like him. Marley also told Scrooge that three ghosts will come to visit him...
The Ghost of Christmas Past , the first one, took Scooge back to his childhood memories when his sister came to bring him home for Christmas because their father had become a better man.
Merry Christmas Bob, for I am raising your salary! Merry Christmas!
Thank you Mr. Scrooge, I am forever thankful!
The Ghost of Christmas Present, took Scrooge to Bob Cratchit's home where he and his family were celebrating Christmas and were having a good time even though they were poor and their son Tiny Tim was forever crippled due to illness.
The final ghost, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, took Scrooge to his grave site if he keeps being selfish. If he does not change, Scrooge will die an unhappy man and will remain an unhappy ghost like Marley.
After learning that he will be unhappy and selfish for the rest of his life, Scrooge decided to turn his life around and make the world a better place. On Christmas Day, Scrooge raised the salary of his employee Bob Cratchit.
Because of his good deeds over the years, Scrooge became very happy, especially during Christmas, he lived a long and happy life and made the world a better place.
