Oh, a new order from a student! Time for me to go to the canteen to collect the food order.
Checking Of Crowd & Availability Of Tables & Its Sharing
During Software Engineering class, Alex was thinking of what to eat during break time. He decides to use the food application to order his food, so that he do not need to queue up. This means he could avoid the queue and he could pre-order his food that comes in a bundle. Then he makes payment through the application via debit card.
Update Peer Of The Food Collection Location
Alex's food is available for collection
Peers who sign up in our application to help students to collect their food will be notified whenever the order is raised. The peer who accepts the order first will be able to help the student collect the food from the canteen. In this way, Alex need not make a physical trip down to the canteen.
Food Collection In The Canteen
Alex uses the application to check how crowded the canteen is through the crowd indicator in the application and if students are willing to share seats during peak hours. If the students in the canteen are willing to share seats and table, they could use the tablet placed under each table in the canteen and indicate if they want to share seats. If yes, the seat will turn pink, else it will be red. The availability of seats is indicated by green color.
Face To Face Meetup For Collection Of Food
Hello! You're Alex right? Here's your food
Alex will update the peers through the application where he is at through the sharing of live location. The peer would be able to go to the exact location Alex is at and collect his food. This helps Alex to stay at a comfortable spot while waiting for his food and he can use the time to go to the canteen and to reserve a seat.
Location is at south canteen , Ban Mian Store
Peers will be able to see the food collection point (food stall) through the application and proceed to collect the food from the stall.
Alex will meet up face to face to collect the food from the peer that helps him collect the food.
