  • Battle OF BROOKLYN
  • George Washington left the campfires burning,so Britain thought the Americans were still at their campsite. Him and his troops travelled by boat to give them another fighting day.
  • WHERE ARE THOSE BLOODY REBELS?!
  • 
  • BATTLE OF TRENTON AND PRINCETON
  • America won two crucial battles. Both times the British/Hessians were not ready for attack and failed to guard the roads. Britain lost their general and New Jersey.
  • One way women helped in the war was by being a camp follower. They would carry buckets of water, help wounded soldiers, and load cannons to fire.
  • WOMEN IN THE WAR
  • Winter was horrific, damp, and cold. The food was terrible and limited. Despite these hardships, this winter was a bonding experience and prepared Washington and his troops for Britain.

  • WINTER AT VALLEY FORGE
  • THE SOUTHERN CAMPAIGN
  • oh no... we lost... again
  • In the Cowpens battle, Britain had to tread up a slope while the Patriots shot over the hill unto the British. At the end of the day, America won.
  • The battle/Siege of yorktown
  • This was the last battle of The Revolution. Britain surrendered by trying to escape and lay down their weapons, however America captured them. America is now free of Britain.
