How does a bill become a law?
Here let me show you
Okay so first things first, the bill is introduced to the house of representatives.
Okay, so what's next?
Hold your horses, next the bill gets sent to the committee, they come to an agreement whether they want it or not and if they do the bill is sent to the house where the bill is then debated.
I wonder what happens next?
Im guesing your wondering what happens next, after all of this the bills is sent to the president to get a formal approval in whether it can become a law or not.
Is this the end?
Not just yet! If the president doesn't agree that the bill should become a law it still has the chance of becoming a law, this is because if two-fifths of the senate and house of representatives agree on the bill, if it isn't signed by the president it can still become a law.
Okay thanks girl!
No problem girly!
