Storyboard Text

  • I was born on the 26/05/2006 in East Melbourne. As a baby I couldn't feed myself, talk, make my own choices. After a little bit of time I was able to do some of these things but not at my full ability.
  •  As a toddler I started to learn how walk, talk, feed myself, communicate,When starting Kindergarten I was away from my parents and had to do things on my own.In Kinder I learnt some life skills such as communicating with other kids, sharing, waiting for my turn, and lots more. but after a while I was able to do all these things for myself. Then I started primary school which is where I learnt how to read and write, do math and play ball sports, learn about the world and what happens out thereIn the big world.
  • Please imagine this being an AFL feild
  • I started to realise that my body was developing and I was becoming taller, stronger.  I was also becoming more independent and wanted to do more things on my own. My mindset was changing in regards to my opinion on things
  • At a young age nobody cared about what clothes you wore and what games you play they didn't care. That was when you had the opportunity to make good friends easily, now to make new friends it's about your appearance and personally I am not a big fan of this but that is how the world works now.  When we were all kids the smallest thing could hurt you and you might have an emotional breakdown now it might take a lot to bring you down or even the smallest thing and that depends how you are dealing with changes that are happening. For example puberty.
  •  These changes have influenced my health and wellbeing because when my muscles started to grow I became more confident in my sporting abilities. Being stronger and fitter now allows me to participate in more sports and being stronger also allows me to fend off more sickness. That helped with my self confidence and makes me feel better.
  • Being brought up in a Catholic community I have been taught to always respect people as I would like to be respected and living that way leads to a happy life. I have also been taught many life focusses including. Compassion, sharing, forgiveness. Some of our family culture is celebrating any significant family events including birthdays, Christmas, Easter and lots more.
