"I would not go over there if I were you, she is very mad and does not talk much."
Your life can change in an instant. My life changed my junior/senior year of high school. I decided to help teach a gym class and was assigned to an integrated gym class with students with special needs; this small opportunity really changed me for the better.
"Hi... Whats your name?"
As I walked into the gym my first day of senior year I saw some familiar faces of students I had worked with my junior year. Although as time went on I saw a new face.
"Well I'm Jessie, want to walk around the gym together?"
I smiled and started walking towards her she turned her back to meand crossed her arms over her chest. Her aid looked at me and said, “Oh she does not talk much, do not get offended if she doesn't reply to you.
2 Months Later
I took a chance and walked up to the student. Nervous as could be I started trying to talk to her.
I was hurt I thought I was making progress with her, but I needed to realize small steps are key.
As time had gone on I observed Skylar. She was shy, and she wanted to do her own thing and really did not care for people bossing her around. It was now two months into the school year and nothing had changed.
