A Jewish man is traveling between Jerusalem to Jericho where he is then beaten, robbed and striped of his cloths and belongings. He is left by the road half dead with nothing to help himself.
While the Jewish man lying there, a priest walks past, but instead of helping he walks by on the opposite side of the road.
INN
Then again, this time a Levite comes past, but instead of helping he walks by on the opposite side of the road.
Finally, a Samaritan comes past and sees the man but instead of walking by he stops. Moved with pity and sorrow for the Jewish man he comes down, cleanses his wounds, and bandages him up. He puts the man on his donkey and goes out looking for help.
The Samaritan finds an inn and takes the Jewish man inside
He gives the inn keeper some money and says, here is some money for now, if he spends more than that I’ll come back and pay what is owed. He looked after the Jewish man through the night to keep him healthy and left for the inn to take care of him after.
