The climax is that the sun came out
An example of the theme is that the children found out that Margot was right about how the sun will come out on that day.Margot says in the text,"But this is the day, the scientists predict, they say, that they know, the sun..."Then the text says,"The door slid back, and the smell of silent, waiting world came in to them. The sun came out.
One external conflict is that Margot got locked in a closet because she was different , and that all the kids didn't believe that the sun wasn't going to come out on that day.
One figurative language sentence in the text was,"The silence was so immense and unbelievable that you felt your ears had been stuffed or you had lost your hearing all together." The author most likely put it in to give the reader more detail about how it felt like to be there so the author pretty much gave us imagery in that sentence. The simile was comparing the silence to stuffed ears and being deaf.
The resolution of "All Summer in a Day" was the children letting Margot out of the closet slowly and silently. The resolution showed the children that bullied her all sad and regretful for Margot because she was right yet they locked and made her miss something that happens every 7 years.
