  • The Primary User
  • The Problem
  • How do I keep track of all theses events? How do I gain points for my house? I want to be involved with Haskayne but I'm unsure how!
  • The Solution
  • Haskayne Happening
  • The student cares about gaining experience in extracurricular activities to support their academic standing. The student is trying to achieve a well-rounded self-portfolio complete with different events and a vast network from attending such events, which can potentially help in securing their dream job.
  • Event Coordinator Interaction
  • Haskayne Happening
  • After orientation week, when the student first learns of the haskayne house system, and the many events and extracurricular activities offered to them it can become very overwhelming and confusing to know which events to attend, how to collect points, and how to keep it all organized.
  • Student Interaction
  • Wow! I just signed up to 3 new events in Haskayne by using the Haskayne Happening Application.
  • Students have the ability to log in with UofC credentials and view a calendar of upcoming events, can collect points for their assigned house by using a QR code scanner at each event to track attendance, and a points system along with a leaderboard that has the ability to incorporate the haskayne housing system.
  • The Benefits
  • Haskayne Networking Event
  • Here an event coordinator (who mostly are Haskayne student club executives) swaps between her professional account where she can create an event and upload it, and her student account where she can access all other features.
  • Add Location
  • Available Seats
  • Create Event
  • Add Event Information
  • 11/10/19
  • Here the student is interacting with the app by viewing the many events available on the calendar and RSVPing to the ones he finds most interesting.
  • The Haskayne Happening application provides the student with a platform to keep track of all upcoming events, rsvp to them, collect points for their assigned house and view leaderboards, all while building a network with fellow students.
