STory board for canterbury tal
Due to the Knight's crime, of rape, he is sentenced to be beheaded. But he pleads for his life before the queen and she gives him the task of finding what women want most in the world and he will be spared. He is given one year and a day to do so.
Feeling sorrowful for what he has done, the Knight sets off on his quest to find what women want most. But along his journey he finds many different women with many different answers. Until one day, while walking through the forest, he sees an old hag that offers to help the knight if he pledges himself to her. With no other choice the Knight agrees.
With answer in hand, the Kinght and hag travel back to the castle to deliver the answer that all women in the world want to be in charge of their husbands and lovers. Satisfied with the answer, the queen spares the knight's life and sets him free.
Excited that he has been allowed to live, the Kinght leaves the castle only to be met with the old hag from earlier. The hag publicly asks to marry the Knight due to their previous promises. Horrified, the Knight tries to look for a way out of the marriage by offering her his possessions but eventually gives in and marries her.
The knight, angry for being tricked, vents his anger to his new wife. The hag tells the Knight that he can either have her ugly but loyal or pretty and unfaithful. After thinking, the Kinght decides that the hag should choose as having choice is what every woman wants. Given this, the hag becomes both beautiful and loyal.
The partition is finally removed and they lived happily ever after together.
