  • "A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling My beautiful Annabel Lee" (Line 15-16). Imagery is shown in this line by describing how Annabel Lee gets chilled by the wind.
  • "In this kingdom by the sea" (Line 20). Refrain is shown in this story whenever this line is stated over and over again.
