In Thomas Paine's pamphlet he wrote about the arguments for Independence. One of the arguments were that he did not agree with the way the British Governed the colonist.
After Thomas Paine wrote the Common sense in 1776. It influenced the Declaration of Independence to be created and the start of the Revolution War. This pamphlet also gave the Americans their freedom.
