  • The story of King Tantalus
  • Once upon a time, there lived a king named Tantalus. Everyone in his kingdom adored him and thought that he was the greatest king. Turns out, he was an evil man and he only cared about himself and began to misbehave.
  • King Tantalus wanted to trick the Gods into doing something that they would never want to do to prove that he was smarter then everyone so, he chopped up his son and made him into a stew.He then invited a few of the gods to supper so that they would eat his son.
  • If the gods refused to eat the soup or be blackmailed, he was going to tell his whole kingdom that the gods were the ones who killed his son
  • The End
  • The gods knew that he had tried to trick them so, he transformed his son back into a human and punished king Tantalus
  • The gods brought him to his garden and enchanted his feet into the ground so that he couldn't leave. They also enchanted an apple tree above his head so that whenever he reached for the apple, the branch moved out of reach.
  • He stayed that way for a long time. Nobody came to his rescue because his entire kingdom was disappointed. Eventually, he faded away and king Tantalus was no more. The end
