  • Cassius wanted to stop fighting with Brutus because it wasn't the right thing to do , and he didn't want his men to see. If they did, they would start choosing sides and it would be like a civil war between them.
  • Whose this? Bad eyesight might be causing me to see this dreadful vision. walk here. Are you some kind of god or Angel. Or some devil making my blood run cold??!

  • I am your evil spirit, Brutus. I am here to tell you I shall see you at Phillipi.

  • My lord, I didn't cry out anything. I've seen nothing my lord.
  • Was it a dream that made you cry out like that? Did you see anything?
  • Lucius is sound asleep. Brutus is awoken by the ghost of caesar. Brutus gets very startled and starts asking what the vision that he is seeing is.
  • The ghost replies to Brutus that he is his evil spirit and that he will see him at Phillipi.
  • Lucius awakes from the conversation between the ghost and Brutus. Brutus asks him if he was sleep talking or had a bad dream. Brutus was still a bit startled from the vision and did not know what he saw.
