The heat from the sun takes the vapor from the lakes, ponds, oceans and other bodies of water.
Pretend that the cloud is a sponge when you keep adding water to it the sponge gets to heavy and the water falls out of the sponge.
The rain goes into the drains and the sewer pipes and the cycle starts all over again.
This cycle is called the Water Cycle or the Hydro logic Cycle.
If the heat is taken away from the water it either turns into ice or snow this is called Precipitation.
