  •  As Odysseus sets out for Eumaeus, his dogs attack Odysseus, nearly killing him.
  • Luckily, Emaues saves Odysseus and brings him to his hut, where Emaues cares for his needs.
  • "Stay the night, I will cook you a delicious meal and we will talk."
  • I can't believe my father is alive.
  • "Thank you Emaues. "
  • "It is for my lost master that my heart aches an yearns."
  • "My master is Odysseus, whom is lost in a great big world."
  • "Now who may your master be?"
  • "The followers of Odysseus, are tired of your beggars lies. Where are you even from!? "
  • "Such remarks are true. I am from Crete, son of a wealthy Cretan who knows about Odysseus' were abouts. I last accompanied him to the Nile, where we were separated.  "
