- A conveyor belt of packages streams past our robot gatekeeper like the one in frame 1. each box is emblazoned with a simple shape: square, circle, triangle, rectangle or pentagon.
- Our robot has instructions in its head: squares, circles and triangles are allowed; rectangles and pentagons are NOT.
- One conveyor belt admits the packages with the correct insignias; another sends the rejects away.
