They were taught from a young age about the different gods and goddesses of nature: god of earth, goddess of fire, god of air, and the goddess of water.
The children of the village were always warned about upsetting the gods. They were taught that if they were to somehow disrupt the flow of nature that these gods work to maintain, there will be consequences affecting more then us alone.
One day this boy named Kai who lived in the village had a thought about defying one of the gods to see if the stories were true. He assumed that if he were to throw off the water flow by dumping garbage and waste into the lake then the goddess of water would have to appear and punish him.
I don't believe in the "Gods of Nature"!! I'll prove they aren't real. JUST YOU WAIT!
Please don't do anything that you'll regret.
Later that night, Kai went to the lake and began to throw in all the garbage he could find. He began to believe that his theory was correct, and that gods don't exist.
Hahaha!! I knew nothing was going to happen. The Gods aren't rea-
Just before kai could finish his thought, the waves started to intensify and a large figure appeared before him.
Hello Kai, I am very disappointed in you. Your error has ruined the flow of nature. The waste you threw into the sea has killed many of the fish . Your village, local animals, and every village near by will starve.
