Hamilton had a 3 step plan to create a national bank, pay back war debt, and to increase the government's revenue trough tariffs. Jefferson's disagreement because of the constitution, he was against the constitution, he thought the north would have more power than the south, he disagreed that the south does not need to help pay the north's debt.
the whiskey rebellion taxed whiskey, Hamilton made a rebellion about the tax of whiskey, Hamilton needed a steady source of revenue in order to create a self-supporting and effective government.
Jefferson was against not helping the french why Hamilton was not, us did not end up helping, Jefferson and his followers though of it as betrayal.we don't always help with other wars nowadays
