Wednesday 24th April It was a normal day like any other, until people started notcing cracks in the walls. The bosses told them that they must go to work or they would get fired. Some people went home but the majority of them went to work anyway.
Just before 9am, the building couldn't hold up its own weight anymore and took under 90 seconds to fully collapse.

Over 2500 people were injured and there were around 1200 casualties.
The managers of Rana Plaza attempted to rebuild the builiding but people kept protesting against this and it was never rebuilt.
The effects of the Rana Plaza disaster still impact people today. There are still protests and lawsuits fighting for compensation for all those people who have lost family and freinds due to the Rana Plaza incident.
