- No! Should I drown myself?
- Odysseus is hiding his Gold!
- Odysseus and his men arrive on the Island of Aeolia. Aeolus has 12 children, 6 sons and 6 daughters who practice incest. As they leave they're given the important gift of wind.
- Initally all looks good, in 9 days they have sailed and by the 10th day they see their homeland. The men end up back at Aeolia where they're not welcomed.
- They meet Antiphate who tells Odysseus and his men that her Father is the ruler. The people they meet are unfriendly giants so they leave and go off to visit Circe.
- Circe uses her skills in magic to erase any memories the men might have of home. The men are placed in a pig sty but Eurylochus does not trust Circe and does not fall for her trap.
- Odysseus is given advice by Hermes and is given a herb which makes Circe pill usless.
- Circe tried to trick Odysseus, she acts as a suppliant and asks him to go to bed with her. He also has a bath and is cleaned with olive oil.
