  • Women's rights were different in the 1500's compared to now. In the 1500's women were seen as housewives and mothers. Women did all of the parenting while the father was working. They also did all of the cooking and cleaning while taking care of a child. Now they can get jobs just like men and they don't have to work at home all the time.  KJ
  • Women were seen differently in the 1500's. My first example is if parents gave permission girls at the age of 12 years or older were aloud to get married. My second example is unlike the 1500's you have to be 16 years of age to be able to get married. While women were able to get married at the age of 12 in the 1500's laws have become more strict and you have to 16 years old or older which can help younger people stay in school and later on in life take care of their kids.  kJ
  • Women's rights were different in the 1500's compared to now. One reason of this is women were not aloud to attend any school only private tutors. Unlike the 1500's now women can go to school just like men. In the 1500's the reason women could not go to school was because they had to stay at home and take care of children if they had children. Women's rights now a days they have more freedom than they did in the 1500's.  KJ
