  • I doubt the paw can do anything . 
  • (throws the paw in the fire)
  • The story takes place at the White's house referred as the Laburnam Villa in a small English town. Mr.White and his son is playing a game of chess on a stormy day .
  • Turning point/ Climax
  • DON'T OPEN  THE DOOR !   
  • I wonder who's at the door?
  • The conflict is man vs fate .Family friend Sargeant Major Morris comes to the White's house to visit and show the Monkey's paw. Mr. white tried to change his fate by making a wish. But the monkey's paw has consequences for every wish that you make.
  • Falling Action
  • The White's gets the Monkey's paw from their friend Sargeant Major Morris .The paw grants to wishes to its owner.The White's are doubtful of the paw,they think the paw can't really do anything. Sargeant Morris throws the paw in the fire.But Mr.White gets it out of the fire and wish for 200 pounds.
  • Resolution 
  • (Feels very disapointed)
  • After Mr.Whites wishes for his son back ,there's a knock on the door in the middle of the night.Mrs.White wants to open the door no matter what's on the the other side.She really wants her son back.But out of fear for his wife ,Mr.White wishes for Herbert to return to the dead .
  • Mr.White wishes for the noise to stop.They think maybe Herbert was on the other side of the door .The third wish disapoints his wife but if it is Herbert the third wish sends Herbert back to his grave.
  • I wish Herbert back to the grave.
  • The resolution is that Mr.white uses his three wishes ,but to his sorrow he loses his son because of the consequences of his wish .And he disapoints his wife because she wants to open the door.
